Terra A whole album about one of my favorite themes, presented with a gentle sort of bleakness... Of course I fucking love it. Favorite track: And Everything Under the Sun Will Sleep at Last.

Say I will Know I won't Forgetting everything That I know Think about How things were Know that I don't know Much for sure But there are stars Beyond the clouds Shining on every Bleak and rotting house And everything Under the sun Will fall asleep At last
2.
No Dawn 02:24
No stars No night No stars No night Sing your song Oh lack of dawn
3.
Wind blows past my window Rain falls on the ground Covering everything And everyone you meet Stay a while No rush to leave At all Streetlights turn on And illuminate the sky Brighten up the clouds Warm me from the inside out Can't fall asleep Watch the rain Turn to dust The sky opens up And out comes a light Beckoning me "Be still, and rise" Sky turns black Can't find my home Don't want to leave But I don't want to stay Darkness falls Death is in the rain Out of time Out of mind But I must leave

Bleak House 03:12
The place I live In the quiet night A bleak, bleak house In the pale, pale moonlight Wish I could tell you Everything I know And I'm the only one Who knows of this place My house in the woods Where my own thoughts I face Wish you truly Knew who I am
6.
Praise 02:33
Look to the sky I see you there When I look away I feel your stare Yet sing His praise Yet sing His praise Yet sing His praise Yet sing His praise And sing His praise And sing His praise And sing His praise And sing His praise Death takes quick All he desires So lock all the doors And tap all the wires Yet sing His praise Yet sing His praise Yet sing His praise Yet sing His praise And sing His praise And sing His praise And sing His praise And sing His praise Sing his praise Sing his praise Sing his praise Sing his praise
7.
Little one Don't fret Just yet There's time for that Later on Later on As time goes on A heaviness Will overcome And everyone You used to love Will leave Don't worry yet Cause you're still young Just hold on Just hold on
8.

Emptiness 01:30
I don't feel a thing I just want to sleep I promise I'm okay And so I promise That I'm no good For you

about

"This is my first proper full length LP under the name The Lake at Night. Recorded mostly in two days at the end of January 2017. Some of the songs are old, some of the songs are brand new. Many of them are recorded in only a couple takes with a buzzing, yet still reliable, acoustic guitar and the occasional drums. A few tracks are electric guitar focused. A couple tracks have random noise for no apparent reason. Most of these songs are about death in one form or another. It just kind of happened that way. And of course, all of them are suitably lo-fi. Thanks for checking it out."
